CookieRun Lore: The Heartwarming Origins of Sherbet Cookie, Cotton Cookie, and Frost Queen Cookie

Once upon a time in the snowy landscapes of Snowfall Village, Sherbet Cookie and Cotton Cookie’s intertwined destinies began. Sherbet Cookie, who once looked like a typical cookie, was a lonely dreamer yearning to travel the world. His solitary existence changed forever when he met Cotton Cookie, his childhood friend and the light of his life.

Their friendship began on a fateful day when Sherbet Cookie, wandering the snowy mountains, was attacked by snowmen monsters. Cotton Cookie, seeing his plight, bravely rescued him, marking the start of an unbreakable bond. From then on, they spent their days playing in the snow, crafting snow angels and building snowmen.

But their joyous days were numbered. Sherbet Cookie fell ill with a mysterious ailment that drained his strength and dulled his joy. Despite his condition, Cotton Cookie never wavered in her care. She brought him a book containing a map of the Cookie World, promising that once he recovered, they would journey together to explore every corner of it.

As time passed, Sherbet Cookie’s illness worsened. He could no longer feel the warmth of the fire, only the chilling embrace of winter. He spoke of the snow “calling” him and the Frost Witch—later revealed to be Frost Queen Cookie—coming to claim him. Cotton Cookie refused to accept his words, clinging to hope.

One day, Sherbet Cookie disappeared. Cotton Cookie searched the village and eventually found Frost Queen Cookie taking him to her icy castle atop the mountains. Cotton begged Frost Queen to spare her friend, but Frost Queen explained that Sherbet’s fate was part of life’s cycle. She offered Cotton Cookie a chance to say goodbye by retrieving a Wind Flower, which would grant Sherbet a moment of warmth.

With determination, Cotton Cookie secured the Wind Flower and shared a final, heartfelt moment with Sherbet Cookie. As she held him close, he disintegrated into snow, leaving her in tears. Her grief was immense, but her tear, falling on Sherbet’s snowy remains, triggered a miraculous event.

A blinding light and a surge of cold air surrounded them, and Frost Queen Cookie experienced a flashback of her past. Long ago, she had been a normal cookie named Frost Cookie—a healer striving to cure an unknown illness, the same one afflicting Sherbet Cookie. Despite her efforts, she succumbed to her condition and transformed into the ethereal Frost Queen.

In the present, Sherbet Cookie was reborn, his soul preserved by a single droplet of warmth. He emerged as Nature’s Herald, a being eternal and free, tasked with a new mission. Though Sherbet Cookie could no longer return to his former life, he and Cotton Cookie exchanged heartfelt goodbyes. Cotton promised to protect all they held dear, while Sherbet vowed to one day return and share tales of his adventures.

Years passed, and Cotton Cookie grew old, still hoping for Sherbet’s return. One snowy night, after hanging a lantern on the village’s Lantern Tree and making a wish, her dream came true. Sherbet Cookie appeared, now a traveler of the Cookie World, ready to share the stories of his journey with his cherished friend.

Their reunion, though fleeting, was a testament to the enduring power of friendship, hope, and the magic of the Cookie World.
